Changesmith Coaching

Changesmith Coaching is the brainchild of Pramoda Vyasarao. Pramoda has a master’s degree in computer science and has  20+ years of experience working in technology organizations like Meta & Oracle. His work experience spans India & the United States. Early in his career as an engineer he developed a penchant for personal development and started a Toastmasters club for employees at Oracle India. After 6 years on the IC track, he moved laterally to management track.

While managing large teams, Pramoda realized the need for a structured, practical and measurable program for leadership development in engineering organizations. He first enrolled as a client for a few coaching programs (listed below ++) to become a more effective leader. Changing his behaviors and beliefs through conscious awareness & consistent action was a transformative experience. This journey inspired him to go through coach certification programs to help other senior engineers & managers in tech companies.  Behavioral coaching is his calling. He’s on a mission to make these processes, tools & frameworks accessible to all levels & paths in the tech community.

Pramoda has 15 years of coaching & facilitation experience. He has coached more than 80+ people in 1:1 assignments and 600+ people have attended his group sessions. Pramoda is a big fan of Marshall Goldsmith’s work and behavioral coaching philosophy. He’s grateful to Marshal’s extensive research, pragmatic framework and effective tools for leadership development.

Pramoda lives in Redwood City, California with his lovely wife Anusha, lively son Samyak and a long-living Sulcata (Taco).
